Based out of Tucson, Arizona, Kelly Wilt is a writer, licensed therapist (LPC), and consultant with over a decade of experience in trauma, healing, and social change.  Kelly has worked closely with individuals and communities across the United States and abroad to help build strong practices for healing and collective wellness. As warm as she is fierce, Kelly is passionate about supporting people and movements that work to create a more joyful and liberated world.

She has worked with institutions of higher education, non-profits, and national resource centers to bring creative strategies to supporting thriving individuals and communities. With a strong background in community building and trauma work, Kelly has led transformative national projects, written numerous publications for healing practitioners, and has spoken on related topics around the globe. In 2018 she founded the non-profit Soulshine, creating a new collaborative network and platform to center community voices on healing and social change. Kelly is also a founding member and current board member of Campus Advocacy & Prevention Professionals (CAPPA). Kelly previously served as inaugural director of a campus-based center for students impacted by sexual violence. She currently spends her days as a therapist at an integrative wellness practice in Tucson, and as a writer and consultant, supporting strong practices and organizational development and change efforts for people-serving organizations across the country.

Her formal education includes a master's degree from Prescott College in Counseling Psychology and a bachelor's degree from Penn State University in Women's Studies and International Politics. She attends regular continuing education courses at Southwestern College, AASECT, NSAC, the Gottman Institute, EMDRIA, the Embody Lab, and beyond. Her continued work with mentors, colleagues, and community members has always been her greatest teacher and continues to shape her knowledge and capacity to contribute to this work in meaningful ways.

Interested in the intersections of individual well-being and collective healing, Kelly thrives working with topics that are often overlapping and nuanced. Committed to intentional living and supporting others in living their truths, Kelly works to connect people with their knowing and the power that comes with it. Through curiosity, continued un/learning, and vulnerability she challenges herself to do the same.
